JUNE

With few more days to go and it is the month of June. Well, many things have happened in this month. But one important things that coming in June, is whether if I am going to Australia or not. The offer letter of University of Tasmania haven't arrive or reached to me yet. Sigh. It is almost one month ago when i 1st applied to this University, and they still haven't replied to me. If the offer letter is were to reach me so late in June, where to I have time to prepare to go to Australia. Other than that, application for the student visa also needed time to be prepared.

Other than that, the time for me to be staying in Penang is getting lesser and lesser, as I am going to leave my hometown to undertake my degree, whether is Australia or not. The feeling now i am having is like "I am not going to leave my house", haha, some might laugh, but this is what i am feeling now. Without knowing, I already had to leave. I haven't have the preparation to leave now. As I had to make decision to go Australia or not, I haven't noticed that I haven't make any preparation yet to leave anywhere. Sigh. I don't know what should I felt now, as I am now just enjoying as much as I can and also trying to do what I can in this family or house, so that can happily cope with my leaving to other place to study, which I know they could. Haha. Every friends have told me that I should go to Australia, but I can't make decision about this yet. Sorry for that.

All i have to say is that JUNE is an important month for me to prepare for everything as offer letter of UniTAS haven't came yet. All the best to everyone. Thanks

Decisions...

This month is one of my truly enjoyable month, full of enjoyment and excitement. Haha. I have travel alot lately, being to Langkawi, Redang and many more places.

Other than that, I have also been thinking alot about decisions I have to make to see which place to go for degree. Earlier, I have thought of going to QUT, but, too bad I can't really financially afford the fees and living cost over there. So, I applied another place, University of Tasmania in short, UTAS which is located in Hobart, the capital of Tasmania, an island under the Australia continent. I have waiting to get the offer letter from this University. I have heard that this University is quite famous than another university that i applied, not to named it here. Hehe.

So, now all my focus is on UTAS. But, is that what i really wants? Or am I just trying just to follow my friend? I really don't know how to answer this. Really. I don't really know what my heart wants. Sigh. Should i go to study in Nilai as a better solution? I am really in dillema now. Haih... Nothing that I can do now as the offer letter from UTAS haven't came yet. So, i must be very ready when the offer letter come, as I have to know where I should go already. Luckily, my another choice Inti Nilai starts in September. So, if i don't go to Australia then i will have time till the new semester starts in September.

If i were to study in Australia for degree, then i won't be taking Master anymore. As on the other side, if i study locally in Nilai, then i will study for Master in overseas, maybe. Haha. This is the only decisions i made throughout this month. Haha.

Manchester United Double Champions 2007/2008

The night of Champions League Final finally ends... And its Manchester United who won the Final in Moscow. Congratulations to Manchester United...
The scores for the match is 1-1 after extra time and Manchester United won in the penalty shoot-out with 6-5.
The first half was largely dominated by Man Utd, and on the 26th minutes, they got their deserved lead through a Ronaldo header with cross from Brown on the right. After a minute later, Chelsea almost equalize through Ballack with a header, lucky that Van Der Sar is there to the rescue. Man Utd dominated much in the first half. But, against the run of play, on the stroke of half time, Essien shoot from distance and the shot deflected twice before Lampard shoot towards the empty net after Van Der Sar was wrong-footed and slipped. So, the score at half time is 1-1.
The second half was like a revival from Chelsea. Chelsea was dominating at whole in the second half, but lacked the cutting edge only noted chances were Drogba's shot hit the post on the 76th minutes. After that, Ryan Giggs made his record breaking appearance in to substitute Paul Scholes on the 82 minutes. The match then went to extra time after a goal-less draw in the extra time.
In the extra time, both team have a go at each other in the center of the pitch. Midfield control was key in this match, in this stage, Makelele, Lampard and Ballack vs Hargreaves and Carrick. Both team had their own chances. Lampard shot hit the bar after a nice build-up. Then Ryan Giggs shot was blocked by John Terry while going into the empty net. And before the end, we manage to see a red card shown to Didier Drogba after he attempt to slap Vidic in the face. It is a fracas started after Tevez kicked the ball out for Chelsea in the throw-in and they got intimidated by that. I didn't understand the incident at all and also why or how Chelsea players reacted to it. They did this to Man Utd twice earlier. Each team had their own chances. Soon, both half of the extra times finally ends, and it goes to penalty shootout.

Myth: In the last Decade, Champion League's Final Penalty Shoot-out were always won by the red jersey team. Liverpool vs AC Milan = Liverpool won while in Red Jersey, AC Milan vs Juventus = AC Milan won in red jersey, Bayern Munich won penalty shootout in Red Jersey too.
Myth: Remember the last time a important player of a team get red card in the extra time and then lose in the penalty shootout. Familiar with that? It is Zinedine Zidane in the World Cup 2006 Final. France played brightly, so as Italy. The same things happen tonight in the Champion League Final 2008.

How The Premier League Title Was Won

It is easily forgotten, as Manchester United celebrate their tenth title success in the 16 seasons of the Premier League's existence, that they actually got off to their worst start to a campaign since the first of those seasons in 1992-93 (when they also finished as champions).

Back in August, as defending champions who had added Anderson, Nani, Owen Hargreaves and Carlos Tevez to their squad, United struggled to recapture the winning formula.

The Red Devils started the season with by surprisingly dropping two points at home to Reading, who frustrated Sir Alex Ferguson's side with a disciplined defensive display. Despite creating plenty of chances, United couldn't break the Royals' resistance, and matters were exacerbated when Wayne Rooney limped off with a broken bone in his foot.

There was little for United fans to cheer about in their next game, either, as Portsmouth came from behind to draw 1-1 at Fratton Park and Cristiano Ronaldo picked up a red card for a head butt.

Worse was to follow at Eastlands on 19th August in the Manchester derby. United had plenty of possession but without Rooney and Ronaldo they lacked a cutting edge, and Sven-Goran Eriksson's ebullient Manchester City, infused with exciting new players and bags of enthusiasm triumphed 1-0 thanks to Geovanni's 31st minute strike. After three games the champions had a mere two points. Cue talk of a crisis at Old Trafford.

7th Arsenal Pld 2 Pts 4
9th Liverpool Pld 2 Pts 4
16th Man Utd Pld 3 Pts 2
Manchester City led the table with a 100% record.

Ferguson commented: "We've got ourselves an uphill fight now. Ten years ago we could have handled it because we were always good in the second half of the season - now we are going to have to be."

Fortunately for United, though, the fixture list did them a favour by having Tottenham visit Manchester for their next game. Spurs were busy making all the pre-season hype about their top-four potential look ridiculous, though even so, United were far from convincing as they scraped a less-than-pretty 1-0 win with £19m summer signing Nani hitting a spectacular winner from 30 yards.

It proved to be the first of three consecutive 1-0 victories for United, as Roy Keane's Sunderland and David Moyes's Everton were despatched by the same scoreline, substitute Louis Saha proving the Black Cats' undoing and defender Nemanja Vidic flinging himself to meet the ball with an 83rd minute header that unwrapped the Toffees' resistance at Goodison.

Another 1-0 win marked the start of United's Champions League campaign, as Sporting were beaten in Lisbon, Ronaldo scoring against his former club.

By September 23rd, when United were due to host Chelsea, the League had confounded the pundits with some surprising developments. Arsene Wenger's exciting young Arsenal side were still unbeaten, top of the table and playing scintillating football, their only dropped points having come at Blackburn in their second game, when a Jens Lehmann error gifted Rovers a late equaliser and ended the German's tenure as the Gunners' first choice keeper.

Meanwhile, Chelsea were having a major wobble of their own. An away defeat at Aston Villa, followed by uninspired home draws against Blackburn and Rosenborg, had prompted the unthinkable: the departure of Special One Jose Mourinho. Avram Grant was charged by Roman Abramovich with picking up the pieces and delivering the 'expansive' football that Mourinho hadn't. With dismayed and disgruntled players threatening to quit Stamford Bridge, Grant's task at Old Trafford was a thankless one. United won 2-0, with goals at the end of each half by Tevez and Saha (a penalty), respectively. But the dismissal after half-an-hour of John Obi Mikel by Mike Dean, in a controversial display of officiating, was a turning-point - claimed Chelsea, who were without Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, Michael Ballack and Ricardo Carvalho.

Fergie gave the kids a chance in United's next game - a Carling Cup tie at home to Championship Coventry City, but they let him down in a 2-0 defeat. However, in the League and in Europe, things were going well, as Birmingham (away) and Roma (home) were both beaten 1-0, Ronaldo and the fit-again Rooney, respectively, on target.

United's defence was proving exceptionally strong, conceding just two goals in eight Premier League games; but the attack had yet to click into gear. That suddenly changed with sixteen goals in the next four games as United consigned Wigan (4-0 home), Aston Villa (4-1, away), Dynamo Kiev (4-2 away, Champions League) and Middlesbrough (4-1, home) to crushing defeats.

Grant's Chelsea had ground out victories over Bolton and Middlesbrough before suddenly hitting the 'sexy' button with a 6-0 demolition of high-flying Manchester City on the day United beat Boro. It was a bigger Premiership victory than the Blues had managed in Mourinho's three-and-a-bit seasons at the Bridge, and furthermore Chelsea had not conceded since losing to United.

But Arsenal, with an impressive point at Anfield on the same weekend, had scarcely put a foot wrong either, and were matching United stride for stride in the League - still with the advantage of a crucial game in hand. And next up for United was a trip to Ashburton Grove to take on the Gunners.

A week after their draw at Anfield came Arsenal's sternest test so far, against United. They passed with flying colours, though it took a stoppage-time goal from skipper William Gallas to earn a 2-2 draw from a game they largely dominated. It was a club record 25 games unbeaten in all competitions for the stylish Gunners, who extended it to 28 before a Champions League defeat away to Sevilla.

Meanwhile United thrashed Kiev 4-0 and beat Blackburn 2-0 - with two goals in a minute from the prolific Ronaldo - before unaccountably succumbing to their second League defeat, a 0-1 reverse at Gary Megson's struggling Bolton. The Red Devils bounced back with successive home victories over Sporting (2-1), Fulham (2-0) and Derby (4-1), with Arsenal suffering their first League defeat of the season with an unexpected 2-1 reverse at Middlesbrough.

United maintained their unbeaten Champions League run with a 1-1 draw away to Roma ahead of the first 'Super Sunday' of the domestic season. Tevez struck just before half-time at Anfield to give United a 1-0 win over Liverpool, but shortly afterwards at the Emirates Gallas headed the only goal as Arsenal defeated Chelsea 1-0.

On 23rd December United beat Everton 2-1 at home, 24 hours after Arsenal - still going strong in the Carling Cup - completed the double over local rivals Tottenham with a 2-1 win at Emirates.

But on Boxing Day, United nosed ahead of the Gunners, thumping Keano's Sunderland 4-0 at the Stadium of Light while Portsmouth became the first side to stop Arsenal scoring in a goalless draw at Fratton Park. Chelsea were held to an epic and explosive 4-4 draw by Aston Villa at the Bridge. Liverpool needed a last-minute winner from Steven Gerrard to overcome lowly Derby and cling on to the coat-tails of the leaders.

Arsenal reclaimed top spot on 29th December by humbling Everton 4-1 at Goodison, Eduardo hitting an impressive brace, while United surrendered a lead at he Boleyn Ground - Ronaldo untypically missing a penalty - as West Ham beat them 2-1. New Year's day saw the Gunners stay stop by beating the Hammers 2-0 at home; United secured an edgy 1-0 win over Birmingham at Old Trafford while Chelsea beat neighbours Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage.

Next up was the third round of the FA Cup. United and Arsenal both progressed with 2-0 away wins over Aston Villa and Burnley, respectively; Chelsea beat QPR 1-0 at home.

Chelsea and Arsenal both had Carling Cup semi-final first legs to negotiate before, on 12th January, United crushed Newcastle 6-0 at home. Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed a hat-trick to take his tally to 25 goals for club and country. Chelsea beat Tottenham 2-0 but Arsenal slipped up at home, being held to a 1-1 draw by Birmingham. The results put United top on goal difference.

United stayed top by beating Reading 2-0 away, then disposed of Spurs 3-1 in the FA Cup fourth round before beating Pompey 2-0 in the League. The Gunners beat Fulham 2-0 and recovered from a 5-1 thumping by Spurs in the Carling Cup semi-final return by knocking Kevin Keegan's Newcastle out of the FA Cup by three goals to nil and repeating the dose a few days later in the League. Chelsea, meanwhile, reached the Carling Cup final with an aggregate win over Everton, before progressing to the fifth round of the FA Cup by beating Wigan 2-1 and maintaining their League challenge with a narrow 1-0 home win over Reading.

However, Liverpool endured a winless January in the League and by the end of the month were 17 points off the pace and effectively out of the race.

On 2nd February, Arsenal threw down the gauntlet in the lunchtime kick-off by beating Manchester City 3-1 at Eastlands to end the Citizens' unbeaten home record. Neither United nor Chelsea, held to 1-1 draws at Tottenham and Portsmouth, respectively, could respond in kind; and the Gunnerrs extended their lead at the top by beating Blackburn 2-0 in their next game, after United had slipped to a 2-1 home defeat to Manchester City in an emotional game that marked the 50th anniversary of the Munich disaster, and Chelsea had drawn 0-0 with Liverpool.

As a result, Arsenal went into their next game five points clear at the top. A below-strength Arsenal had been thrashed 4-0 in the FA Cup by Manchester United a week earlier, and the Gunners were then held to a goalless draw at home by Milan in the Champions League while United earned a 1-1 draw in Lyon. But as they looked to open up an eight-point lead at Birmingham in a lunchtime kick-off on 23rd February, there was nothing to suggest the wheels were about to come of the Gunners' title challenge.

However, three minutes into the game at St Andrew's came the moment that seemed to define their season. Wenger had decided not to enter the transfer market in January but to stand by the players who had taken his side to the top of the table so impressively. And when Martin Taylor made a reckless lunge at Eduardo, the Brazilian-born Croatian's season was ended with a horrific leg injury. There was further damage to come when Gael Clichy was dubiously penalised deep into stoppage-time and James McFadden scored from the penalty spot to snatch a 2-2 draw. Captain Gallas staged an unhelpful sit-down protest on the pitch and the Gunners would struggle to recover psychologically from a thoroughly wretched day - one made worse by United's 5-1 drubbing of Newcastle. The Red Devils' two games against the Magpies had enhanced their goal difference by a massive 10 goals, effectively giving them an extra point on their rivals, and the title race had undeniably tilted their way.

Chelsea were not in League action that weekend. But on Sunday they faced Tottenham in the Carling League Cup final at Wembley and went down o a shock 2-1 defeat as Juande Ramos's side shrewdly outplayed them. The result and Chelsea's performance damaged Avram Grant's standing with the fans and threatened to undermine their challenge in the League.

2nd Man Utd Pld 27 Pts 61

Far from getting the Birmingham trauma out of their systems, Arsenal proceeded to draw their next three games - to Aston Villa (h), Wigan (a) and Middlesbrough (h), before losing 2-1 at Chelsea despite taking their lead. In that miserable spell the title slipped out of their grasp, although in the midst of the run came a sparkling 2-0 triumph over Milan at the San Siro.

Meanwhile, United beat Fulham (3-0 a), Lyon (1-0 h), lost 0-1 at home to Portsmouth in the FA Cup and rebounded from that set-back with wins over Derby (1-0 a), Bolton (2-0 h) and Liverpool (3-0 h).

Chelsea, though, had displaced the Gunners as United's main title rivals. The Blues shook off their Carling Cup defeat by thrashing West Ham 4-0 away and Olympiakos 3-0 (h). They suffered a shock FA Cup humbling by Championship strugglers Barnsley (0-1 a), but then beat Derby (6-1 h), and Sunderland (1-0 a), and drew 4-4 away to Spurs before beating Arsenal. Didier Drogba, who had managed only five League goals previously, hit two in the final 20 minutes to enable Chelsea to leap-frog the Gunners into second. But they were still five points behind United with seven games to go.

1st Man Utd Pld 31 Pts 73
2nd Chelsea Pld 31 Pts 68
3rd Arsenal Pld 31 Pts 67
4th Liverpool Pld 31 Pts 59

United thumped Aston Villa emphatically (4-0 h) and eased past Roma into the Champions League semi-finals. But they were lucky to emerge with a 2-2 draw at Middlesbrough before coming from a goal down to overcome Arsenal 2-1 at Old Trafford. It seemed they could afford to slip-up at Chelsea on 26th April and still claim the title, though they set their fans' nerves jangling by scraping a draw at Blackburn thanks to a late Tevez goal.

Chelsea had followed victory over Arsenal by beating Middlesbrough (1-0 h) and squeezing past Fenerbahce 3-2 on aggregate to reach the Champions League semis as well, either side of a 2-0 win at Manchester City. But a 1-1 draw at home to Wigan seriously dented the Blues' challenge. They beat Everton 1-0 at Goodison and earned a 1-1 draw against Liverpool in the first leg of their European contest thanks to John Arne Riise's stoppage-time own goal. United went into their Stamford Bridge showdown with the Blues having frustrated Barcelona with a packed defence in a goalless draw at Camp Nou.

But in the Premier League, Chelsea had the chance to pull level with United on points by beating Ferguson's side at Stamford Bridge on April 26th. United had taken 13 points from their five previous games against their 'Big Four' rivals, but Grant's men duly delivered, Michael Ballack scoring twice in a 2-1 win for the Londoners.

Ferguson had chosen to start without Ronaldo, and lost Vidic to injury, then saw Rooney, who had not finished on the losing side in the League all season, hobble off with a hip injury after equalising for United. So Chelsea's storming unbeaten run in the League had stretched to 19 matches, they had closed the points gap, and only United's superior goal difference stood between the two rivals with two games left to play.

League Positions on 26th April
1st Man Utd Pld 36 Pts 81
2nd Chelsea Pld 36 Pts 81
3rd Arsenal Pld 35 Pts 74
4th Liverpool Pld 36 Pts 70

Ferguson and Grant set up a Champions League final showdown in Moscow by beating Barcelona and Liverpool, respectively; but in the Premier League the contest was moving to a gripping climax. Arsenal's mathematical chance was extinguished by United's 4-1 victory over West Ham at home, but Chelsea won 2-0 at Newcastle to ensure the title would go right to the wire.

United's final day opponents were Wigan, while Chelsea were at home to Bolton. The Latics put up a gutsy display and were denied a penalty before Ronaldo converted one at the other end to give United the lead and take his personal tally to 31 in the League and 41 overall in a remarkable season.

In London, Chelsea went ahead with half-an-hour to go, and at that stage a Wigan equaliser would have the Blues on top. But United veteran Ryan Giggs came off the bench and sealed the title for United by scoring their second goal in the 80th minute. To rub salt into their wounds, Chelsea conceded a stoppage-time equaliser to Bolton's Matty Taylor, ensuring that United's second successive title was won by two clear points rather than goal difference.

A gripping campaign therefore ended disappointingly for Chelsea, and also for Arsenal - who finished in third place with 83 points, a total good enough to win the title in six of the previous 12 years.

Premier League Goals

Fernando Torres - 24 in 33
Emmanuel Adebayor - 24 in 36
Didier Drogba - 8 in 19

United celebrated their tenth Premier League success and their 17th top-flight championship, though Chelsea will be looking for revenge on 21st May in Moscow. Underlining his longevity at the top, Ferguson's 10th Premier League title was achieved 25 years to the day that he guided Aberdeen to a European Cup Winners' Cup win against Real Madrid. And to think he was planning to retire a few years ago. He wisely decided he was not ready and United have reaped the benefits of that change of heart. Now Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and the rest must attempt to dethrone him and his side yet again next season.

Thomas Cup 2008

Today marks the end of the road for the Malaysian Thomas Cup 2008 team. Sorry to all readers cause i didn't updates more on Thomas Cup earlier. Oh yea, they were beaten by China, the world powerhouse of badminton. The result of the match is 3-2. It was an exciting badminton match to watch as this badminton match ended up in 5 matches.
1st match: Lee Chong Wei vs Lin Dan
Of course, Lin Dan were the favourites to this match-up. As most of the people were expecting China to win this match easily (haha, they surely don't expect it to be though). Lin Dan losses this match to Lee Chong Wei started the 1st set with complete fire. He gained 5 straight points before Lin Dan gain his 1st point. And soon, without knowing, Lee Chong Wei won the 1st set with 21-12, without much of a fight from Lin Dan. Amazing, Lin Dan makes more mistake in this match than any other match. It is weird though, for a World No.1 to lose this way, and in this big occasion. Haha. Come the second game, Lin Dan did well in this second set. Both fellow did follow up each points as, it soon reach 11-10 for Lin Dan lead, time for break. After that, Lee Chong Wei did tremendously well to get over Lin Dan and then without noticing too, Lin Dan were already losing 20-14. And after another mistake by Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei finally won the second set. Well Done Chong Wei.
2nd Match: Fu/Chai vs Koo/Tan
This might be a gamble for Malaysia as they left out their first double's (Lee/Choong) from the match-up today. But, gamble, Malaysia did. Haha. They choose Koo/Tan to start because they are young and quick to fight the World No.2 Fu/Chai. Koo and Tan did well to try and stop their opponents, but, they doesn't do as well as they can do. Koo didn't have their best games in the first set, but he soon recover from that, but they still lose their 1st set. In the 2nd set, it was more a tug-of-war between this two teams. Both team did well, rallies after rallies. But, Tan was making much mistakes that cost Malaysia. But it was well done for them. The highlight of the match was, Koo's racquet were broken and then he ran off to change one and came back to win a point for them as Tan defended their shots.
3rd Match: Bao ChunLai vs Wong Choong Hann
This is the important match as Malaysia's chance of going to finals. But, it ended up China's Bao ChunLai come over the top with very on form. The results were 18-21 7-21. The first set, Wong Choong Hann did well, but Bao managed to get a result over the veteran Wong. In the second set, Bao ChunLai proves to the world why he is the World No.3 by stamping an authority over Wong Choong Hann. He is just sublime is the second set which ended 21-7. It was well done for Wong as nothing or no one can stop Bao when he is top form.
4th Match : Zakry/Fairuz vs Guo/Xie
This is the match that Malaysia need to win in order to keep chances on their revival. Not much heard of the Chinese Pair but, one thing, this young Malaysian pair does win them before in the past. Hope for future to repeat. And repeat it does. This Malaysian pair does have nice future in front of them. They are fast, witty and plenty of arrongance. Haha. The result of the match is 21-17, 21-15. Zakry was one of the highlight of the game. He is fast and clever in front of the net. And Fairuz, was good in smashing their opponents. Really, Well Done for them and Rexy, Malaysia's Double coach. In this match, Lee Yong Bo shows his displeasure over the China's 2nd double by refusing to talk to them twice during the break. Also, he was shown quite sleepy as the match was going on. How can he sleep in such an exciting match. Haha. Peace.
5th Match : Hafiz Hashim vs Chen Jin
This is the match that both guys needs to win for their own team to reach the Thomas Cup Final. Chen Jin is World No.4 in the world ranking. It is the whole's country hopes for Hafiz to win this Chinese singles. But, it is well done to Hafiz to fight the Chinese singles. He often show glimpses of talent he is when he won the All England Championship few years ago. But due to his inconsistent, he was left with nothing but authority from the World No.4. They don't stay in the world ranking without any reason. Haha. The match ended 12-21 and 16-21 and so does Malaysia's hope of winning the Thomas Cup.
Well Done Malaysia.
China will meet South Korea in the finals after Korea beat the home side with the 3-0 result. The match ended after Taufik loses to Lee Hyun Il in the 2nd singles. Korea said that in order to reach the final with facing easier opponent, they purposely lose all the matches in the group stages. Well, this is a nice tactics, but can they beat China in the finals. Haha.

On the other side, Uber Cup Finals will be between China vs Indonesia. Hopefully for a nice finals then.

Congratulations!!! Manchester United

The English Premier League 2007/2008 seasons finally ends. And it ends in a frantic pace. Manchester United is being crowned the Premier League Champion after a long, and hard season. Haha. Manchester United won Wigan at Wigan's homeground on the last game of the season to claim the Premier League for second succesive seasons with a 2-0 scoreline. The goals are scored by Cristiano Ronaldo's penalty and a Ryan Giggs goal. It was a day where Ryan Giggs equal Bobby Charlton's record for most appearance in Manchester United. So, what a day for Ryan Giggs to score the important goals and also lift the trophy for Manchester United as captain. On another milestone-making, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 41st goals in the season and 31st in the Premier League to win the golden boots.

In the another important match, Chelsea drew 1-1 with Bolton after knowing that Manchester United scored the second goal on the match. Another news that is bad for Chelsea is the injury sustained by John Terry after 14 minutes in the match. It could be a good news for Manchester United team. Haha.

On the other end of the table, Fulham survived relegation with 1-0 victory over rather-weakened Portsmouth team. So, the teams relegated were, Derby(the worst ever team in EPL with only recorded 11 points) , Birmingham (although won 4-1 in the last match) and Reading (who also won 4-0 against Derby in last match).

This season is really all about Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 31 goals in the Premier League and also 41 goals whole season. Although Ronaldo should be praised, the whole Man Utd teams also should have been praised as well, because of their team-work, confidence in each other, and also not arrogant or childish captain. However, Sir Alex Ferguson's old fox strategy should also be mentioned along with Carlos Queiroz. Thanks Manchester United, this season is truly remarkable, as we can still do the double if we win Chelsea in Moscow for the Champion League's Final. Good Luck and All the best!! Man Utd, best squad ever.

11/5/2008

Excuse me from stopped blogging lately, I was quite busy. Haha. The whole last week was quite eventful, from friends birthday till Redbox-ing. Some people might says that, before you leave, you'll need to enjoy it. I can't do anything but to totally Agree with it. Although i can't confirm where i will be going yet, but something is for sure, I will continue to pursue my degree whether in Nilai or Australia. So, thanks to all my friend, I do have an exeptional week in entertaiment. Haha.

First, it was a birthday of my friend name Yeoh Keng Liang @ Abu. Haha. Sorry for failing to update till so late. Lol. We actually wanted to give him a birthday surprise at his college at PTPL (formerly known as IPG). When we arrive at his college with a cake, he was very surprise, but lucky for him, his teacher was still conducting the class, so we didn't go in to his class to celebrate with him. After awhile we waited for him to finished the class, but then he already knew about our plans. So, after that, we went to Prangin Mall to celebrate for him. We have 6 people with us and we all sit in one car. It was so cramped, but importantly it was fun. Haha. Happy Birthday Abu....

Second, it is Redbox-ing. It is some of my friend's first time to go for Redbox. We sang in Redbox for 3 hours. And it is just RM 9++. What a difference from the last time i went at night. The last time i went, it was around RM 35++. Lol. What a different. Haha. What a diffrence Student Price makes.

Pictures of us in Redbox.

Third, we went for a movie a day before. We watch the movie "Ironman". Lol. What can i say about that movie. It was trully nice although it might be sometimes quite "kuah cheong". Haha. Especially when he created a 1st Ironman in a cave. Secondly, the main actor does looks more like a villian than a super hero. Haha. Maybe because of his looks? I don't know. I just feel so. Haha. Entirely, the whole movie was quite a great movie. No execptions. Haha. Do watch it.

Redang Trip (1st May-4th May)

Last sunday, I came back from my holiday trip in Pulau Redang and Terengganu. My face and both my hand became very dark because of extreme exposure to sunlight while i was at the sea snorkelling. Haha. I went with my cousin and few of his friends.

Actually my trip started at 30th April where I start to sit in the bus at 9 o'clock at Sg. Nibong bus station. The estimated time for the journey bus to reach Kuala Terengganu bus station is around 8 hours. In the half-way of the journey, the bus stops for rest. While stopping, some of my cousin's friend gave his a surprise birthday cake. Haha. Very surprise indeed.

After the rest half-way, the journey continues. And the bus never stops until it reach the bus station in Kuala Terengganu. So, by the time we reach there, it is already 1st May, so, i post my blog as the journey starts on 1st May. Haha. While we reach there, the time is just 4.30am in the morning. So, we called the hotel people who will drive us to the jetty. They say that the van will arrive at 6am. So, by the mean time, we watch UEFA Champions League football at Malay shop at the bus station. It is the match between Liverpool and Chelsea. Chelsea won Liverpool on that match with 3-2 after extra-time. So, it will be Man Utd vs Chelsea at the Champion League Final. Haha. After waiting awhile, the van guy arrive and we went up to the van. While sitting at the van, i can sleep again. Hehe. The van was driving us to fetch another group of people at a hotel. It was quite a large group around 15 people, so it need 2 vans, another empty van and another van of ours. After fetching them, then the van drove us to go for breakfast while on the way to the jetty. After breakfast, we continue our journey to the Merang jetty(the jetty that transit visitors to go to Redang Island).

After waiting awhile for our tickets, we soon go into the boat and transit to Redang Island. The boat was quite smaller compare the one of boat to Langkawi.

After 45 minutes of journey in boat, then we arrive at Redang Island, and we straight go to our hotel or what they called there a "resort". The resort we staying is named "Redang Bay". But, because we reached there too early, we can get our room yet, so we went walk around the resort and beach to take some pictures.

After getting the room, then we go for the lunch given by the resort. And the dishes looks quite homely type, and quite tasty too. So, without wasting anytime, we soon finished the lunch. Haha. It is because we were all quite starved. After that, we move around again, and then we register for a snorkelling session. Before that, we went for snorkelling at the seaside.

Took the picture of baracuda, luckily we are not the prey. Hehe.

On the other side of the beach, we manage to take picture of a baby shark, lucky we are it's prey too.

After snokelling, we went to took pictures at a nice location, More More Tea Inn.

After evening, we soon went back for bathing and then for our dinner. After dinner, we went out to walk in the beach again.

Picture taken at night.

After having a walk at night, we gamble awhile before we sleep on our 1st day at Redang.

Then, on the second day, we spend more time on the sea to snorkelling, so we don't take much pictures. On the 9.30 snorkelling session, we went to turtles bay for snorkelling. Too bad, i don't see any turtle there. But, two of my friend saw a quite big one there. Sigh. Maybe i am just bad luck? Haha. On the second session at 2.30 pm, we went to Kampung Lama to have a look at the nice coral, this place is located in the middle of the sea in some bay. We are allowed to go to the beach because it is a private property of other resort. So, we just have to swim in the middle of the sea to look for corals. And talking bout bad luck, the waves of that day is quite big. So, we all lost contact with each other as we went our own way to look for other things. But, when i was going back to the ship, I didn't see them so, I have to find them again. Swimming and swimming i did. Haha. Till i found them, they say they have no more energy to swim, so i have to pull some of them to swim with me back to the ship. It's quite far from the ship, so when the ship start to honk, I was quite panic, so I went even faster. But, I felt cramp on my leg, so I slow down abit, but after awhile, I swam back again. After awhile I finally swam to the ship. I was so happy as I was also ran out of energy. Haha. And also the waves was quite powerful make me harder to swim. Haha.

After the evening, we went for the BBQ dinner which is served by the resort.

After that, we went back to room and rest. Tiring day. Haha. On the last day, we went for our last time snorkelling. Hehe.

What a memorable place for me. Haha.

Our group picture.

After our boat arrive, then we sit the boat out back to the Merang Jetty. As our bus is at 9 at night, we pay for a one day tour at Terengganu to look around the city. We went to see batik place, pasar payang and also place to see they sell and make keropok lekor. After that, we went for dinner.

Look at the size of the juice, twice bigger than Penang. Damn scary. Haha

After dinner we went to the bus station and wait for our bus. But while waiting we went to McDonalds beside bus station to wait and play some cards.

The time soon arrived and at 9 o'clock, we sit our bus and soon transit us back to Penang and arrive at 4th May around 5 something in the morning. And thanks to everyone, IT WAS A GREAT TRIP AND VACATION!!!!! THANKS

Offer letter from QUT..

Last Tuesday, the offer letter from QUT finally came. The offer for me was to study 3 semester at around 1 and 1/2 years and each sems cost around 10k aussie dollars (quite expensive). Haha. Now, the headache is that, should I go to Australia, or should I study here locally. This month is truly a decision period for me. Some of my friends get same offer for me, some have to re-apply because their grade doesn't reached the condition, and some didn't get 1.5 years, but 2 years instead because he is switching to different major. But, till then no decision have been made yet. I am sad cause the period where i had to make a decision has come and any decision that I made, I will surely leave my home Penang. Haha, don't bother bout that, I did get some complement for the hard time as I passed my final project when the result came out on tuesday.

The content where it says what bachelor and major they offered me. I had to make decision in May.
